Brain Injury (East York Site)
Patient’s who have been involved in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) have both physical and cognitive needs. Our program includes a multidisciplinary approach to ensure both needs are met. The physical component focuses on, building strength, endurance and improving the ability to complete activities of daily living. In certain circumstances activities such as speaking and proprioception are also included. Our team includes physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, speech language therapist and medical specialists as required. The cognitive component includes working with social workers and psychologists. All of our staff has special training in this subpopulation.
