Dr. Altaf Virani, HBSc, D.C.

Graduate
Dr. Virani graduated with an Honours Degree in Biology in 1995 (University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario) followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology in 1998 (National University of Health Sciences, Lombard, Illinois), and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1999 (National University of Health Sciences, Lombard, Illinois). He is a licensed chiropractor registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO). He is a member in good standing with the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA), Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), and Sigma Phi Kappa Chiropractic Professional Fraternity (U.S.A. chapter).
Dr. Virani has post-graduate training in orthotic therapy and low level laser therapy. He is a certified practitioner to dispense medical class compression garments.
Experience
Dr. Virani has experience in a number of conditions and injuries including motor vehicle accident injuries, work place related injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, sports related injuries, etc. He is actively involved in conducting section 22 motor vehicle accident assessments and writing medico-legal reports. He is a consultant at the WSIB Regional Evaluation Centre at the East York General Hospital.
Special Interests
Dr. Virani has conducted seminars at the corporate and community level on “Office Ergonomics”, “Orthotic Therapy”, and “Proper Back Care”.
