Top Ten Tips for a Healthier 2011

1. Improve your diet. Eat smarter. Take a high quality multivitamin and supplements tailored to your specific health needs. (ask about our Nutrition Program run by Dr. Ailin Oishi-Stamatiou).

2. Drink at least five, 8-ounce glasses of water per day. 

3. Reduce the intake of stimulants: caffeine and alcohol in your diet. 

4. Stop smoking. (Ask about our Smoking Cessation Program run by Dr. Altaf Virani). 

5. Maintain a healthy body weight.

6. Keep active. Exercise a minimum of 3 times a week including aerobic, strengthening and stretching components. (Ask how our Physiotherapists can help).

7. Don’t wait. Get your aches and pains resolved. (ask how our rehab staff can help).

8. Get at least 8 hours of sleep. Go to bed by 10pm.

9. Reduce your stress. (Ask how our Massage Therapists can help).

10. Lastly, don’t underestimate “me” time.
