Nutritional Program @ Bay and College
February 2011
Are you feeling unwell and not functioning at a level you desire?
Diet, Exercise and High Levels of Stress have resulted in a significant increase in Chronic Illnesses in our society.
Obesity is a significant risk factor in major illness such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, Cancer and Dementia. There is also evidence that conditions like Osteoporosis and Chronic Pain can be related to poor diets.
Modern diets are often insufficient in vitamins and minerals and can lead to obesity and major illness.
A diet balancing naturally occurring vitamins and minerals in the body through a healthy diet and incorporating nutritional supplements can improve function and lead to a healthier weight.
Our nutritional evaluation highlights gaps in your diet and assists you to make healthy food choices and to enhance your return to optimal health.
Our Health and Wellness Plan will include:
- A thorough history of your present health status and review of your present diet and nutritional gaps.
- A personalized Health Recommendations Report will be developed in partnership with you. The report will include: Basic Rules of Healthy Smart Eating and Recommendations for enhancement of Vitamins and Minerals in your diet
- Provision of ongoing support, and monitor progress
The Initial Program includes an initial consult plus three follow up visits with Dr. Ailin Oishi-Stamatiou, D.C. Dr. Oishi is accredited by Nutrition for Doctors 2009: Dalla Lana School of Public Health Sciences, University of Toronto.
The cost of the Initial Program is $250. This program may be covered through your Extended Health Plan. Book your appointments today. Take your health into your own hands.
